Our Contribution to the UN Sustainable Development Goals

In December 2023, I.P.Cert became a member of the United Nations Global Compact, the world’s largest community of responsible businesses. The company committed to adhering to the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact across four focus areas: human rights, labor, environment, and anti-corruption. Among the 17 Sustainable Development Goals, we concentrate our efforts on four that are most achievable in our work.

End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition, and promote sustainable agriculture

2.4  By 2030, ensure sustainable food production systems and implement resilient agricultural practices that increase productivity and production, that help maintain ecosystems, that strengthen capacity for adaptation to climate change, extreme weather, drought, flooding and other disasters and that progressively improve land and soil quality.

Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls

5.5  Ensure women’s full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision-making in political, economic and public life.

Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

12.5  By 2030, substantially reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse.

Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts by regulating emissions and promoting developments in renewable energy

13.3  Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning.
