Sustainable Development Goals Policy

1. Introduction

I.P.Cert LLC (hereinafter – “the Company”) proudly announces its joining of the UN Global Compact in December 2023. This step emphasizes our commitment to responsible business conduct and support for global efforts for sustainable development. Our “Sustainable Development Goals Policy” P0-Pa004:2025 (hereinafter – the Policy) is developed in accordance with the requirements of International Standard ISO 9001:2015 “Quality Management System. Requirements” for the Quality Management System (hereinafter – QMS) in I.P.Cert LLC (hereinafter the Company) and defines our commitments in accordance with the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact and focuses our efforts on achieving four of the seventeen key Sustainable Development Goals.

 

2. Purpose

The purpose of this Policy is to ensure the integration of Sustainable Development Goals into all aspects of the Company’s activities, improve the social and environmental impact of our work, and contribute to achieving global sustainable development goals.

 

3. Scope of Application

This Policy applies to all Teams and activities of the Company, including our partnerships, projects and operations. The Policy applies to all employees, as well as to our counterparties and suppliers.

 

4. Sustainable Development Goals and Commitments

In accordance with the UN Global Compact, the Company has undertaken commitments and focuses our efforts on achieving four of the seventeen key Sustainable Development Goals.

Goal 2: End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture

Target:

2.4 By 2030, ensure sustainable food production systems and implement resilient agricultural practices that increase productivity and production, that help maintain ecosystems, that strengthen capacity for adaptation to climate change, extreme weather, drought, flooding and other disasters and that progressively improve land and soil quality.

Commitment:

We are committed to supporting initiatives that promote the creation of sustainable food production systems. This includes implementing regenerative agricultural practices that increase resilience and productivity, improve land and soil quality, preserve ecosystems and adapt to climate change.

Actions:

  • Promote cooperation with organizations working in sustainable agriculture.
  • Develop, implement and support projects that ensure increased sustainability of food production systems.


Goal 5: Achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls

Target:

5.5 Ensure women’s full and effective participation and equal opportunities for leadership at all levels of decision-making in political, economic and public life.

Commitment:

We strive to ensure equal opportunities for women at all levels of our organization and support their participation in decision-making processes.

Actions:

  • Implement policies and initiatives that promote gender equality.
  • Ensure full and effective participation of women in leadership roles and key decisions.
  • Make additional efforts to involve more women in opportunities created by the Company through providing services, implementing specialized programs, educational courses, public events, etc.


Goal 12: Ensure sustainable consumption and production patterns

Target:

12.5 By 2030, substantially reduce waste generation through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse.

Commitment:

We are committed to substantially reducing waste through prevention, reduction, recycling and reuse.

Actions:

  • Implement effective waste management practices in all aspects of our activities.
  • Promote the use of resources with minimal environmental impact and develop waste reduction strategies.
  • Maximize efforts in the Company’s office, as well as engage employees in collecting, sorting and sending for recycling 100% of our own household waste.


Goal 13: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts

Target:

13.3 Improve education, awareness-raising and human and institutional capacity on climate change mitigation, adaptation, impact reduction and early warning.

Commitment:

We strive to improve education and information dissemination about climate change mitigation and adaptation.

Actions:

  • Conduct educational campaigns and initiatives that raise awareness about climate change.
  • Implement strategies that promote emission reduction and adaptation to climate change.

 

5. Responsibility and Control

Responsibility: The Company’s management bears responsibility for implementing and monitoring this Policy. All employees must comply with this Policy and actively contribute to its implementation.

Control: Regular monitoring and reporting on achieving Sustainable Development Goals will be carried out through reporting and internal audits. We will also annually report publicly on our achievements and challenges. The period for submitting the mandatory Communication on Progress (CoP) begins annually on April 1 and ends on July 31. CoP is a mandatory requirement that must be completed by all business participants of the UN Global Compact.

 

6. Review and Updates

This Policy will be regularly reviewed and updated in accordance with changes in the regulatory environment, as well as taking into account new achievements and challenges in the field of sustainable development.

 

7. Final Provisions

The Company is dedicated to its commitments to sustainable development and will continue to work towards achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. We strive to implement practices that positively impact our society and environment.
