The first meeting on the project “Preserving self-seeding forests” in the village of Tysmenychany

We invite you to a meeting of stakeholders of the project “Preserving Self-Seeding Forests”, initiated and developed by LLC “Climate Forest Initiatives”.

The project aims to restore natural forests, reduce carbon emissions and develop ecosystem services to achieve a sustainable future.

The event will take place on May 2, 2025 from 10:00 to 12:00 at the Ivano-Frankivsk City Council (Ivano-Frankivsk, Mykhayla Hrushevskoho St., 21) and via ZOOM platform.

Our colleagues will participate in the meeting as independent experts:

• Oksana Prosolenko, Chairman of the Board of the LIVING CROPLAND Initiative;
• Uliana Semak, Doctor of Philosophy, Lecturer at the Department of Biology and Ecology of the Vasyl Stefanyk PNU;
• Oksana Butrym, Doctor of Economics, Senior Researcher, Member of the International Verification Group at the UNFCCC Secretariat, Member of the Methodology Working Group supporting the Gold Standard Secretariat;
• Maryna Bereznytska, Independent Expert on Climate Change.
